NCWorks Mobile Career Center
What is a Mobile Career Center?
The NCWorks Mobile Career Center is a 12-station, state-of-the-art, fully-accessible computer lab. The unit offers a full array of services and has a private interview area and the option to divide the classroom area into two separate rooms. The instructor’s workstation connects to a 42 -inch Smart TV for presentations and training.
The Mobile Unit operates under generator-driven power or through a shoreline connection. Internet connection is via satellite. Printer, scanner and copy services are available on the unit. DVD and Blu-Ray units are attached to a large LCD television, and an outdoor LCD monitor is mounted on the exterior under a retractable canopy.
A wheelchair lift allows impaired individuals to access the unit. In addition, a fully accessible ADA restroom sits at the rear of the mobile unit, and an ADA compliant workstation with a movable table and auxiliary equipment is available adjacent to the wheelchair lift.

- Online Tutorials and Individual Assessments

The GuilfordWorks Mobile Career Center is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including Wi-Fi, computer stations, and printing capabilities to provide career and employment outreach services to communities throughout Guilford County.
