The addition of the NCWorks Mobile Career Center has had a massive impact on how we serve the community. We’re very excited to be able to reach more communities and assist job seekers in finding meaningful careers.

With the Mobile Career Center, we can partner with local businesses and educational institutions to deliver our services. Utilizing the Mobile unit’s advanced-tech features, we’re able to register participants with NCWorks, assist them with job search and applications, and provide instant Wi-Fi access wherever we go.

During the first six months of the Performance Year (July 1 –December 31, 2021), the Mobile Career Center attended 59 events in Guilford County. We served 453* people during 7 employer initiative hiring events, 12 job fairs, 13 community outreach, and 27 resource events.
