WASHINGTON, DC — In April, representatives from GuilfordWorks attended The Forum, an annual conference hosted by the National Association of Workforce Boards (NAWB). For four days, local, state, and national leaders, stakeholders, and policymakers hosted events and panel discussions centered around the current disruptions experienced in labor, industry, and supply chains.
Sharing the Knowledge
GuilfordWorks Executive Director Chris Rivera spoke during a session that explored ways to develop partnerships — in and outside the community — that contribute to goals and accountability measures.

Growing the Network
GuilfordWorks’ attendees had the pleasure of meeting Susan Harden and Derrick Harden, of AGS Data Systems, during #NAWBForum2022. AGS is helping GuilfordWorks support our $3mil USDOL CAREER Dislocated Worker Grant with their data application and performance tools.

AGS also supports the Tech Quest Apprenticeship program, of which GuilfordWorks is a proud recipient. Tech Quest is a U.S. Department of Labor-funded initiative led by Clark University, Public Consulting Group (PCG), and a national consortium of workforce development boards and higher education institutions. This program delivers 4,000 pre-apprenticeships and 1,000 information technology (IT) and IT-related apprenticeships to unemployed, underemployed, and incumbent workers over the next four years.
